![]() Qimage One takes all the functions directly related to photo printing from Qimage UltimateĪnd incorporates them into an easy to use photo printing application. At Binartem, I am the lead for Qimage One PC development whileĪndrew Wilford is the lead for Qimage One Mac development. where I brought the technologyīehind the Qimage brand and partnered up to make a cross platform version of Qimage forīoth PC and Mac. Qimage One is owned by another company, Binartem Inc. ![]() Development of Qimage Ultimate will continue as it ![]() To be the "Swiss Army Knife" of printing. I still handle Qimage Ultimate under ddisoftware Inc. I've reached out to Mike to enquire about the differences and he provided a very detailed response which I was thankful for. It's very worth it and so is Mike Chaney's personal support, do let us know how your printing goes I've used QImage and Ergosoft's Studio Print for years, a bit hard to tame by terrific on the printing results.regards, takomaru Yeah-Just downloaded it-not the full Qimage-but enough for me to pay the price. Best of luch with QImage, beats 3000 buck RIPS! regards takomaru Interesting, so the Mac version is not a complete one used QImage and enjoyed Mike Chaney's personal support for many years, I don't see why I would ever use Mac's, PC's do just fine. But that is all that many people use QImage for. ![]() Mike Chaney, the person behind QImage, teamed up with Andrew Wilford to bring in the Mac expertise needed to move QImage over to the Mac, but at the moment, QImage One only provides a subset of the tools that QImage Ultimate provides. it's the "printing only" part of the windows only QImage Ultimate (from the link you give) presented as a new cross platform product called QImage One. Totally confused-is this the same Qimage that has this website address: Thanks! Used it until I switched to Mac some 11 years ago. I used this years ago and I’ve never found decent print software at an affordable price since I switched to Mac. ![]() ĭisclaimer: I have no association with qimage or its authors. The new release offers a free 14 day trial. The only other way to soft proof on the Mac was to use LR/PS or other high priced, stand alone solutions. For those users who are not familiar, qimage is a program which is a highly featured print engine which allows for soft proofing, templates, etc. As a long time user of qimage for pc, the one sore point was that it wasn’t available for Mac OS. ![]() |
